1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing css.dev (the "Site") or downloading, installing, or using any files, skill definitions, shell scripts, or other materials provided by css.dev (collectively, the "Materials"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Materials.

2. What css.dev Provides

css.dev distributes open-source AI skill files and an accompanying installer script, licensed under the MIT License. The Materials are designed to influence the CSS output of third-party AI coding tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, and OpenAI Codex). css.dev does not provide the AI tools themselves.

3. No Warranty

The Materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

4. AI Output Disclaimer

css.dev does not control, generate, or guarantee any code produced by AI tools. The skill files influence AI behavior through prompts and instructions, but all code output is generated by the third-party AI tool, not by css.dev. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any AI-generated code before using it in any project, whether personal, commercial, or otherwise.

css.dev is not responsible for any consequences arising from AI-generated code, including but not limited to bugs, security vulnerabilities, accessibility failures, data loss, or incompatibility with your project requirements.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, css.dev, its contributors, maintainers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or Materials, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Installation and System Changes

The installer script (install.sh) creates directories and copies files to locations on your local filesystem, including project-level directories and, when the --global flag is used, directories under your home folder. By running the installer, you consent to these filesystem operations. You are responsible for understanding what the script does before executing it. The full source is available for review.

Your use of those tools is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. css.dev makes no guarantees regarding the continued compatibility of the Materials with any third-party tool.

9. Open-Source License

The Materials are released under the MIT License. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the MIT License, the MIT License shall govern with respect to the rights it grants. These Terms govern your use of the Site and any additional obligations or disclaimers not covered by the MIT License.

10. Modifications

css.dev reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site or Materials after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
