The Short Version

css.dev is a static website. We do not collect personal information, set cookies, run analytics, or track you. The only data stored is your theme preference, saved locally in your browser.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no forms, no sign-ups, no email collection, and no server-side data processing on css.dev.

2. Local Storage

css.dev stores a single value in your browser's localStorage to remember your light/dark theme preference. This data:

• Never leaves your browser
• Is not transmitted to any server
• Contains only the string "light" or "dark"
• Can be cleared at any time through your browser settings

No cookies are set by css.dev.

3. Third-Party Services

css.dev uses the following third-party service:

Google Fonts. The Site loads the Instrument Serif typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When you visit the Site, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to retrieve the font files. This request transmits your IP address to Google. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. css.dev has no access to or control over data collected by Google through this service.

No other third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking scripts are used.

4. Downloads

When you download files from css.dev (such as the skills zip archive), the download is served directly from the Site. No personal information is collected or required to download. Standard web server access logs maintained by our hosting provider may record your IP address, browser user agent, and the time of the request, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. The Materials

The skill files and installer script you download operate entirely on your local machine. They do not:

• Transmit any data to css.dev or any other server
• Collect information about your system, projects, or code
• Make any network requests
• Include any telemetry or analytics

The installer script copies files to local directories on your filesystem. It does not communicate with any remote service.

6. Hosting

The Site is hosted on third-party infrastructure. The hosting provider may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps, URLs requested, and HTTP status codes) as part of normal web server operations. css.dev does not access or process these logs for tracking purposes. Refer to your applicable hosting provider's privacy policy for details.

7. Children's Privacy

css.dev does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, no age-specific data handling applies.

8. Your Rights

Since css.dev does not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, delete, or port. Your theme preference stored in localStorage is under your full control and can be cleared through your browser settings at any time.

9. Changes to This Policy

If css.dev begins collecting data in the future, this policy will be updated before any collection begins. Changes take effect upon posting to the Site. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
